MIRIAM PALMARELLA
Born in Pescara, in 2011 she moved to Rome where she began her studies at RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts, in the Cinema course, but immediately showed a greater passion for film editing.
Among the various works of which she is the editor are the short films by Mohamed Hossameldin “Underground”, “The Step” and “Yousef”. The latter has won the Best Editing MigrArti Venezia – Edition 2018.
She also edited the short film “Unexpected Gift” directed by Gurinder Chadha for the series HOMEMADE produced by Netflix and several music videos.
She also edited trailers, teasers and promotional content for films and TV series produced by The Apartment – Wildside, including “Night Outdoors” by Marco Bellocchio, “The New Pope” by Paolo Sorrentino, “We Are Who We Are” by Luca Guadagnino, “Anna” by Niccolò Ammaniti, “The Brilliant Friend – Season 1-2-3”.As editing assistant she worked in the TV series “Those About To Die”, directed by Roland Emmerich and Marco Kreuzpaintner: the feature film “Finally the Dawn” directed by Saverio Costanzo; the TV series for Amazon Prime “Bang Baby” directed by Michele Alhaique, Giuseppe Bonito and Margherita Ferri. Miriam is also an ordinary member of AMC, the Italian Association of Film and Television Editors.
