Winners 2025

Francesco Gheghi won the national section prize at the 22nd edition of accordi @ DISACCORDI – International Short Film Festival in Naples with his short film “La Buona Condotta”. The artistic jury awarded the short film because ‘La Buona Condotta’ is a short film capable of overturning the audience’s expectations, from the beginning of the story to the surprising ending. A bitter and profound reflection on amoral familism, conducted without rhetoric through a brilliant and engaging narrative that leaves us bewildered and stunned, forced to come to terms with our cognitive biases”.

The Neapolitan festival, directed by Pietro Pizzimento and Fabio Gargano, with artistic coordination by Giuseppe Colella, was held from 3 to 9 November 2025 entirely at the Corte dell’Arte di FOQUS in Naples with the screening of 110 finalist short films and meetings with the authors of the works presented. This year’s artistic jury was composed of professor Luigi Barletta, film critic Ignazio Senatore and professor and director Pino Sondelli.

For having been able to convey, with delicacy and depth, the reality of a life lived through the passing of the years. “Appuntamento a mezzogiorno” authentically recounts the feelings and affections that bind two people, giving the viewer an intense and sincere visual testimony. The short film sensitively conveys the meaning of a love that stands the test of time, in which memories become guardians of eternal emotions and a bond that can never be broken. A work that moves and awakens consciences, forcefully calling on the civil and moral responsibility of each individual.”

“I Hate New York” by director Jasmin Baumgartner won the International section of accordi @ DISACCORDI – “For its ability to recount, with subtle irony and profound humanity, how sometimes fate and small misunderstandings can drive people apart more than the love that unites them. A work capable of smiling at human fragility, while at the same time restoring dignity and poetry to it.”
