SIMONE VENEROSO

Born in San Giorgio a Cremano in 1979. His passion for comics and cinema led him, through a variety of experiences, to work as an editing assistant, first in advertising in Milan and then in Rome for films and series, and as a documentary film editor. Among the experiences he is most fond of are the documentaries in the series ‘Photographers’ for Sky Arte, ‘Casanova Undressed’ and ‘William Kentridge – Triumphs and Laments’ by Gianni Troilo, ‘African Catwalk’ directed by Paolo Pisacane for Rai-Doc3. By Chiara Sambuchi he edited ‘The Deal’. produced by Antje Boehmert – Docdays Productions in collaboration with SWR and ARTE Cinema, and ‘Più forti dell’acciaio’, TV PLUS GmbH.

As an assistant editor he has worked on several films edited by Giuseppe Trepiccione such as ‘Zoran Il Mio Nipote Scemo’ by Matteo Oleotto and ‘Il Tuttofare’ directed by Valerio Attanasio for WILDSIDE.

Since 2022 he has been one of the assistant editors of the Mare Fuori series produced by Rai Fiction and Picomedia.
