Winners 2022

Giorgio Testi with his short film Chiusi fuori won the prize of the national section of the nineteenth edition of accordi @ DISACCORDI – International short film festival in Naples.
The artistic jury awarded the short film because “Starting from Waiting for Godot, a work that pays homage to the theater with a perfect cinematic tale.
Two artistic universes beautifully connected by a plot in the center of a stage that becomes the magical door to access these two worlds: theater and cinema.”
The Neapolitan event, directed by Pietro Pizzimento and Fabio Gargano, was held from 7 to 13 November 2022 entirely in presence at PAN – Palazzo delle Arti Napoli; the award evening conducted by Mariasilvia Malvone was held instead at the Court of Art of FOQUS in Naples with the screening of the winning short films. In the jury this year the brothers, film producers, Alessandro Cannavale and Andrea Cannavale.
The first prize of the Campania section goes to the short film Destinata coniugi Lo Giglio by Nicola Prosatore: “The work embodies in its narrative structure and staging the most important features that must have a short film: a short story with a story of full meaning. It surprises, thrilling the viewer.”
Best actor of the 19th edition of accordi @ DISACCORDI for the jury was Tony Laudadio for the short film The Other by Maurizio Fiume with motivation “For having interpreted with perfect measure a wonderful character suspended between reality and fiction, with the overcoming of the boundaries of typical Italian actors. An amazing role that seems to come out of the American series Twin Peaks born from Mark Frost and David Lynch.”
Daniele Esposito with Venti minuti, already awarded in many national festivals, won the award for best director, “A dramatic tale punctuated with precision by every single frame that composes a short film with a capital F, where the direction of Daniele Esposito is mature and aware, and the use of the camera is at the service of an extremely touching story.”
The award for the best actress of the 19th edition of accordi @ DISACCORDI goes to the stellar Fanny Ardant for the short film Good morning midnight – Bonjour minuit by Elisabeth Silveiro: Once again the French actress proves her immense skill in a character that turns out to be wonderful, mysterious and simple in its total complexity. A note to the talented director Elisabeth Silveiro who manages to direct it with a sure hand knowing how to put the camera with great maturity.
Work it class! by Pol Diggler wins the international section of accordi @ DISACCORDI – 19th edition: best international short film for its absolute originality. Bold but bold to quote the work itself. The director makes fun of the viewer by alternating fiction and reality in a very intelligent way.
RAI Special Envoy Vincenzo Frenda and the courageous cameraman Marco Nicois win the documentary section award with Ostav, Masha, Jurij. The war of children “The incredibly real news becomes through the gaze of the journalist/ director a unique and original story of the war. The fire, not that of conflict, but that of history is on the innocent eyes of children; a documentary of a disruptive force that remains imprinted in the soul of the viewer. Images and interviews, which are precious evidence of the total human madness and hope of the new lives that come to the world during the bombings.”
They also bring home the main prizes Donde los niños no sueñan by Stefano Sbrulli for the section on environmental issues and Transparent black and iron rich red by Mario Kreill Cirillo, Isabel Emily Wiegand for the animation section.
The audience awarded his prize to Agostino De Martino with his film Go and do – Vai e fai.
The award for best editing, established by AMC – National Association of Film and Television Editing for the festival accordi @ DISACCORDI, with the jury composed of the president, Annalisa Schillaci, accompanied by jurors, is renewed this year Francesco Di Stefano and Michele Sblendorio; to the editor Valeria Sapienza for the short film Un’ora sola by Serena Corvaglia goes the prize 2022 edition. Special mention of the AMC jury goes to the editor Alessandra Carchedi for the short film Gioia by Eduardo Castaldo. The Prize for Best Photography, in partnership with AIC – Italian Association of Authors of Cinematographic Photography, with the jury composed by the president Daniele Nannuzzi and the jurors Simone Marra and Luca Cestari; prize awarded in this edition by Gianluca Palma, author of the photograph of Un’ora sola by Serena Corvaglia, director winner with his film of both awards of the two technical juries of accordi @ DISACCORDI.
accordi @ DISACCORDI – International short film festival in Naples is organized by the association Movies Event in collaboration with the Municipality of Naples, and with the contribution of the Campania Region through the regional fund for cinema and audiovisual. The festival uses, as always, the precious collaboration of the Experimental Centre of Cinematography – Production, the National Short Film Centre, the Italian Film Festival Association and the German, French and Belgian national film promotion agencies.
